Kola, some people don't like your WIGS...what's up with all the crazy disguise WIGS!?

Because I don't want people to see what I look like when I'm playing with my children.

I have paranoia about the Arab-American corporations that pay reporters and other spies to stalk me and make up stories about me.... my fans have to remember that after I get done being Kola Boof the activist...I still have to be a mother. My sons lives are at risk because of my past just like mine is.

The wigs aren't the most flattering, but that's the whole point--to look different than I naturally do with my children.

KANGMAN:

What's the story I recently heard...that when you first came to America, they listed you as a "boy" on your identification card?

KOLA:

I wish people would stop spreading that rumor, because that happened to ALEK WEK, the supermodel...not to me.

As small children, Alek Wek and I both went to England first before coming to the U.S. In my case, I was going through Unicef and being adopted...but when Alek Wek first came to the U.K., someone mistakenly listed her as a boy on her identification card.

That happened to Alek Wek, not Kola Boof.

My problem is that, as an adult, I had to live under protection of the Federal government, therefore many of my childhood records in the U.S. were sealed to protect me from terrorist extremists and I was given several multiple identities by the U.S. that I had to live under--I've had more than nine social security numbers and more than six I.D. numbers via Witness Protection, even being listed under the names of dead people.

KANGMAN:

What do you think about Alek Wek?

KOLA:

I love Alek!...she's one of my heroes. She's not only very beautiful, but she's one of the greatest role models that Sudan has ever produced. I'm extremely proud of her and I will fight anyone who says a negative word against her. She's
my heroine. I've been collecting her purses.

KANGMAN:

Your kids recently went through some shit with reporters.

KOLA:

My sons had to live temporarily in hiding at a safe house in Pomona, California and the reporters made our lives a living hell.

To try and force us out of hiding, these reporters lied on me to neighboring people and tried to get my kids exposed. Our own land wasn't safe yet for them to go back to, so we had to keep moving between Ventura, Silver Lake
and Pomona.

As I said, The reporters can't get accurate records on me because I was in the WITNESS PROTECTION AFFILIATES for four years, so they made up fake records and things to stalk me and start more rumors about me.

But now the government can't help me, because the WITNESS PROTECTION agencies aren't designed for you to become famous--if you become famous, that means you're out in the open and that's your own tough luck.

KANGMAN:

Do you mind if we talk about something "sexual" for a minute?

KOLA:

Go right ahead.

KANGMAN:

You were the highest ranking woman in the SPLA (Sudanese People's Liberation Army) for years...but six months ago, three male SPLA soldiers in London went on the radio claiming that they used to run "sex trains" on you and they claimed
that you're a cannibal--you eat human flesh.

KOLA:

Actually, it was Sheik Omar Bakri, an Islamic activist in London and a close friend of Osama Bin Laden--well he used to live in England until they kicked him out--but it was Omar who started the lie that he saw me eating human meat when I was in Sudan and Egypt in the 1990's....unfortunately since you do have people who are still into cannibalism, a lot of Arabs like to pin that stigma on Black African people.

John Garang and Minute Bol have also been lied on by Arabs claiming that any African who doesn't want to be a Muslim is a cannibal.

KANGMAN:

But what about the SPLA soldiers? Those are your own men who said you used to let them run sex trains on you.

KOLA:

Wadjet and Deng are both lying, and I don't know why.

Those men took a factual incident from my autobiography where I revealed the way in which I was initiated into the SPLA by force--a gang rape--but because I was a woman and the men were sexist pigs, they wanted to scare me out of the army by using that type of initiation and their scare tactic didn't work. I became a soldier and the commander forced them to accept me.

After that, I never had sex with any of my fellow soldiers again, ever--so Deng and Wajdet are both liars!

And please get it straight...I am STILL the highest ranking woman in the SPLM.

If it were not for me, they would not have been able to successfully blow up Higlig PX-40, and it was me, Kola Boof, who went to Israel and got hundreds of millions of dollars in guns and ammunition for the South Rebel Army. I, a woman, did that.

Several years ago, the New York Times incorrectly reported that you had been a "Prostitute working in luxury hotels" in Morocco...they never once mentioned that your own people call you "Queen Kola"...then there were several newspapers that claimed you didn't exist...then the New York Post called you a "sex slave", Bin Laden's "sex slave" to be exact, which
you deny.

KOLA:

I was Osama's mistress, I was not a sex slave. That whole "sex slave" b.s. is an invention of the U.S. media. They refuse to acknowledge the complicated twists and the turns that the relationship took...and they refuse to acknowledge me as a full fledged human being.

I was never a sex slave. I was Osama's mistress.

Did I like him? No--but I had to survive and I had to convince him that I respected and desired him.

Americans claim that because it was against my will, I should be called a "sex slave", but half the married women in some Arab societies are married against their will, and in Arabic culture--a sex slave is not allowed to make eye contact with her master, she's not allowed to eat meals with him and sleep in his bed until morning. She's not allowed to write poetry with him and have conversations with him.

I did all of that with Osama...and whenever he was gone from La Maison Arabe, he left me in charge of the estate, including his guards, whose job it was to make sure I didn't leave the property "unescorted". I was in charge of them, too, even though I couldn't leave the premises.

Why did the White Media in America never refer to Patty Hearst as a sex slave? Her experience being held captive by nine black men and having sex with all nine of them against her will, because she was "scared", for more than a year is closer to being a sex slave than what I went through....but she's a white woman from a rich media mogul family...so they aren't going to degrade her by dismissing her as a "sex slave".

All of Osama's wives are University lecturers. I think that partly explains his attraction to me--being that I'm a literary novelist, and like him, a poet. He is very attracted to intelligent women, because he likes to break them down...and he also has a fettish for black women. People forget that one of Osama's grandmothers would be considered a black woman by America's one drop standard, and in my opinion, she resembled Ruby Dee.

KANGMAN:

We'll get to Osama's lust for black women in a minute...but I think we really need to point out the blatant lies that journalist Peter Bergen published about you.

He claimed that people in your book were in jail or dead during the timeline of a party that you wrote about in your autobiography.

KOLA:

Ayman al Zawahiri was not arrested until December of 1996 in Chechnya, and was not imprisoned until April 1997, which is nearly a year after I encountered him at a Bin Laden gathering...but Peter Bergen incorrectly reported that
Ayman al Zawahiri was in prison at the time I encountered him at Osama's gathering at La Maison Arabe.

Notice how they simply take the word of Peter Bergen because he's a white man.

Additionally...the two men mentioned in my book, Abdullah Azzam and Sayyid Qutb, were not in their seventies or eighties as Bergen alleges--they were around twenty-seven, as I was, and they were introduced to me as the SON and GRANDSON of the elderly dead men Peter Bergen has falsely claimed I was writing about. Anyone who reads my book will realize that I had no way of knowing who anyone at Osama's gathering was other than relying on what I was told by the men. There is nothing in my book that is a lie--I wrote the truth and nothing but the truth as I remembered it.

Who knows, maybe I'm crazy. But I will not end up like Sally Hemmings. That's for certain.

KANGMAN:

What do you have to say about this whole Whitney Houston thing? You know...the obsession with Whitney, Bobby Brown paranoia and stuff.

KOLA:

I love Whitney Houston.

I'm a huge fan, but I felt enormous guilt last year when the media took this tiny comment from my autobiography and blew it up into this outrageous tabloid story--Osama's obsession with Whitney--which caused Bobby Brown to be afraid for his life, I guess because of rumblings he heard from the people at Homeland Security, but Bobby needs to realize that Osama said these things many, many years ago when Whitney was young and new in "The BodyGuard", and considering that Osama's been in hiding for an eternity now, I'm sure he doesn't have time to keep up with Bobby and Whitney anymore.

Whitney has a new CD coming out and the rapper AKON says that she sounds so incredible on it! So I'm really excited to hear her new CD.

I think we all know that Whitney really is the best singer of our generation--Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Celine, Christina Aguilera and all the others would not be here if Whitney hadn't brought that style of singing in vogue, and none of them are in her league if you really know what true singing is, so I'm really praying that God gives Whitney Houston back to us, because she's the best voice we've produced since the days of Aretha Franklin, Dionne Warwick, Streisand and Diana Ross--those superstar ICONIC types. Gladys Knight, Chaka. I think Whitney's cut from that cloth.

And Fantasia, too. I love Fantasia Barrino.

I actually enjoyed her renditions of "First Noel" and "Oh Holy Night" on her Christmas CD, too. I like her new voice as well as her old voice, she's one of my favorites.

I heard a rumor about Djimon Hounsou dipping into New York to see you--who else are you going to meet up with in the big apple?

KOLA:

(laughs) First of all, that's totally not true. I do not know Djimon Hounsou. I wish people would stop making stuff up. I don't know him.


KANGMAN:

SUDANESE OFFICIAL LIES TO THE BBC:

A Sudanese-American author, Kola Boof, claims she was kept against her will as a mistress for bin Laden during four months in 1996, in Marrakech, Morocco. Boof first denied the relationship, then later admitted to it, but claimed that it was after he initially raped her, then kept her a virtual prisoner. Later, in attempting to dispel skeptics' claims that the story was a hoax, Boof and her publicists noted that the bin Laden relationship event was backed up by Prince Fabrizio Ruspoli, an Italian who grew up in Tangiers, and who is owner of La Maison Arabe luxury hotel, which he refurbished over two years, and where bin Laden reputedly kept Boof in Marrakech. They also claim that FOX News fact-checked and verified the story. On August 23, 2003, Kola Boof appeared in an interview on the FOX News program "Big Story Weekend with Rita Cosby". More recently, Boof and her publicists claim to want to downplay the 1996 relationship, but the author did a two-part interview with MSNBC NEWS (see Youtube) in 2006 that only raised more questions.

The purported relationship with Boof first became public in October 2002, when it was revealed in the Spanish press by "a female columnist," who was later identified as a former roommate of Boof's, named Lourdes Harris. On October 24, 2002, the "Matthew Norman Diary" column item in the London newspaper The Guardian then quoted Kola Boof giving a response to the Spanish press reports: "A female columnist in Spain is telling people that I dated/had an affair with Osama bin Laden in the 1990s," she began. "That's bullshit. I hate to admit I met him, because it's akin to saying you know Hitler, but I barely knew Bin Laden from 1996-98. When we met in Marrakesh in 1996, I was a starlet and he was trying to screw every female in town." Later that month, The New York Times wrote an article about Boof, for which she declined to cooperate, because of the perceived negative angle. In reality, the New York Times helped cooberate Boof's story by posting a captioned movie still from an Egyptian film that featured her.

Nadeem Quttub, a former diplomat of the Sudanese government who helped bin Laden build roads in Sudan, told the BBC that Kola Boof was with Bin Laden "willingly" and miscarried their child in May 1996. Quttub says that Kola Boof accepted marriage with Bin Laden, re-converted to Islam and was very happy with the terrorist, but is now trying to save her reputation in the west with "fantastical stories of rape and imprisonment".

In her 2006 autobiography (as excerpted in Harper's Magazine, September 2006, pp. 22-24), Boof describes bin Laden as obsessed with Whitney Houston, smoking lots of marijuana, and forcing her to dance naked to Van Halen. Peter Bergen, a biographer of Bin Laden, has called Boof "delusional". He says that Osama Bin Laden was never in Morocco in 1996 - in fact, he says that Bin Laden has never been to Morocco at all. His comments, however, were later torpedoed when other experts pointed out misinformation Bergen published about Boof's autobiography concerning the imprisonment of Bin Laden's right hand man, Al Zawahiri, and it turned out that information from Kola Boof's autobiography was more accurate than Peter Bergen's.

During her first book reading in New York City at the Schomburg Center in Harlem, Boof avoided any talk of Bin Laden and focused her energies on the issues of "black women", singing Arabic songs about the plight of black women worldwide.

Though Boof is trying to re-invent herself and distance herself from the Bin Laden chapter in her life, Sudanese diplomat Nadeem Quttub says that Boof is a "liar" and a "prostitute" who can not be trusted and that by the fate of Allah she will someday pay for the shame that she has brought against the Arab world and her Egyptian father's name.
